Family Nurse Practitioner

Shaelah Lewis graduated from University of California, Davis in 2021. She loves living in Northern Mendocino and feels lucky to have found Laytonville and Long Valley Health Center. She is dedicated to the community and to providing safe, evidence-based health care along with traditional methods that complement the healing process.

Shaelah grew up in the Pacific Northwest and moved to California in her mid 20’s. She later moved to Austin, Tx where she earned her RN (registered nurse) in 2012 and graduated from University of Texas, Arlington with her BSN a few years later. In 2018 she moved back to California to pursue her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree. She lives in Laytonville with her Husband of 15 yrs., her 3 yr. old daughter, 2 dogs, 7 hens, 5 guinea’s and 3 ducks!
