Well-child visits allow your pediatrician to examine your child holistically, assess their physical and emotional needs, support their growth and development, and intervene quickly if any issues arise.

Once a year until 21
During your child’s Well-Child Visit, your LVHC provider will weigh and measure your child, ask about his/her sleeping schedule schedule and nutrition, check development, and answer any questions you may have. Your provider will also administer recommended vaccines by age.
Durante la visita de niño sano de su hijo, su proveedor de LVHC pesará y medirá a su hijo, le preguntará sobre su horario de sueño y nutrición, controlará el desarrollo y responderá cualquier pregunta que pueda tener. Su proveedor también administrará las vacunas recomendadas por edad.
Vaccine Schedule
Most kids get vaccines to protect against 14 diseases before they start school. The CDC vaccine schedules are recommended for two reasons: 1) When the vaccine will work the best with your child’s immune system 2) When your child needs the protection the most.
