Born and raised in Virginia, Emily spent many years raising and homeschooling her three children. In 2018, she embarked on a medical career journey as a nursing assistant that led her to work in the spinal cord and brain injury field at the renowned rehab facility, Craig Hospital, in Colorado, where she dedicated herself to helping others heal and thrive. In September 2020, Emily embraced a new chapter in sunny California, accompanied by her loving partner of 24 years, Mark. In her spare time, Emily enjoys hikes in the mountains with her dog, Ollie, and spending a warm Summer day at the river.
